Formerly a dishwasher from an aging pub, young Sunny Lee Addison has been enlisted into the ranks of the British Military since the start of the Great War. However, having Asperger’s Syndrome (a condition not widely recognized yet), he was given a more secluded position as a ship’s cook - specifically during the sudden need for hospital ships starting in 1916 - a position which he discovers that he is more tailored to, as in his eyes, the healing is more rewarding than the hurting. Now, he finds himself in a well-routine position, cooking meals to fill the galley of one of the biggest Allied vessels in the war, the Hospital Ship Britannic, tending to the many needs of both medical staff and patients, yet cannot help but wonder when the war will end… only time will tell.
