Born into the town of Scarborough, on a woodworking family he was never destined to be at the top, yet by 1914 his luck had struck. That all changed on Many 1915, when he survived the sinking of the Lusitania. His brother and butler never made it. Motivated to save people's life's, he returned to his navigational career, starting as a Lieutenant and eventually rising to the rank of "Commander" by November 1916. He's the representative of the Admiralty aboard the Britannic.
