Biography
Born to strange money in early 1889 in Wellington, New Zealand. Miss. Georgina Lilith Hackney is regarded as a "Haughty Enigma".
All that is known of Miss. Hackney is that she is a New Zealand Grocery Heiress, the daughter of Orville Hackney. Owner of the largest Grocery Chain in the Southern Hemisphere.
She has no prior medical experience, and it is unknown when she arrived in the United Kingdom. Aboard the RMS Baltic in 1909 from New York, her parents, Orville and Lilith Hackney appeared on the first class manifest with three children, but no record of Georgina was onboard. Historians speculate that either Georgina went by her middle name, which was her mothers name, Lilith, or was placed down as any of the following on that voyages manifest: Georgia Alderny (1st). George Harkness (1st) or even the most probable, Mrs. George (Lilian) Hackett (2nd).
Regardless, all that can be gathered is that this is Georginas second round trip on Britannic and first recorded post for her as VAD, which has her enlisted since 1915.
Many who work with her say that she is not the friendliest to be around.
The very idea that this wealthy young woman is unknown is appalling and historians are desperatley searching for any leads. It IS known that she survived the sinking of RMS Britannic, yet, gave no interviews and passed sometime around the mid-1950s, as Mrs. Georgina Cadwaller in Perth, Australia. Working tirelessly to track down her children.
