**Colonel Joshua H. Brewster** Age: 38 Rank: Colonel Assignment: HMHS Britannic Not much is known about the appointment of Colonel Brewster. In the days leading up to the Britannic’s departure, his presence has certainly been noticed by members of the crew. His black uniform and unusual familiarity with the layout of the ship has made it so that he has been able to keep a relatively low profile onboard the ship as it prepares for departure. But there are questions: despite being referred to on the ship’s manifests as being of the rank of Colonel, no regiment has been assigned to him. His distinctly nonstandard uniform is surely in violation of more than a few army dress codes, yet he isn’t brought up on it by the officers around him. His unusual stature, being somewhat shorter than most men around him is compensated by the C96 in a leather holster hanging from his waistband which he, like most of the RAMC officers around him, haven’t handed over for the duration of the voyage on a hospital ship. When he is onboard, Brewster himself doesn’t seem to be acting as a regular officer onboard. He’s never been introduced to the surgeon or attended a parade. Nor has he ever even been seen attending any medical meeting of any sort. He is merely an infrequent form often appearing and disappearing without a word.
